Role Overview

This is a Permanent, Full-Time position located at Victoria Drive Community Branch (Branch 2) and reports directly to the Assistant Branch Manager. As a Client Relationship Specialist – Financial Services, you will build relationships with members by learning more about their needs and assisting them with banking transactions. Demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be a trusted advisor for members who value the branch experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform member transactions consistently with established standards to achieve high-quality service delivery.
  • Identify and assess member/prospect needs to provide appropriate products, services, and referrals.
  • Apply branch service standards, policies, procedures, and controls to meet compliance requirements and mitigate risk.
  • Fully leverage and utilize technical systems available to ensure an efficient and seamless service experience for members.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma and/or equivalent.
  • Working experience interacting with people and businesses in a professional capacity with excellent customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.

Benefits

  • Vancity offers a salary range of $23.97 to $30.90 per hour, with the upper half typically reserved for individuals demonstrating consistent strong performance in the role and possessing a high level of job knowledge and skill.
  • The organization provides attractive benefit packages that can be customized and changed each year to meet evolving needs.
  • New employees receive between three to four weeks of vacation allowance per calendar year, increasing to a maximum of six weeks per year as length of service increases.
