Job Overview

F.D. Food Service LTD is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operational Administrator to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $26.50 hourly, with 35 hours worked per week.

Responsibilities
  • We are looking for an individual to implement new administrative procedures, establish work priorities, and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • This role will administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • You will co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Perform data entry and oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor and evaluate office operations.
  • Supervise one to two people.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with a college or CEGEP diploma and three to five years of experience in a similar role.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work at our physical location, with no option to work remotely.
