Care Attendant

At Seasons Retirement Communities, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Attendant to join our team. As a Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide person-centered care services to residents, ensuring professionalism, dignity, and compassion in every interaction.
- Administer medications safely and effectively, with training provided by Seasons.
- Collaborate with the care team to follow infection control measures, enhancing the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks and laundry as assigned, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our residents.
- Respond to medical, physical, and emotional needs, working closely with the Health and Wellness Manager.
- Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Enrolled in the Alberta Health Care Aide (HCA) Directory (applicable to Alberta applicants only).
- Provide compassion, empathy, and understanding of Seasons' residents.
- Communicate effectively, following written and verbal instructions.
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize workload throughout scheduled shifts.
- Knowledge of medical equipment is considered an asset (blood pressure machine, oximeter, glucometer) or the ability to learn these skills with training.
