About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Sales Manager to lead our Footwear department at Lambton Mall. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing business plans, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with other department managers to achieve overall store goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry an asset.
