Department Manager, Footwear, Retail Sales

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to lead our Footwear Department at Sport Chek. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Develop and execute business plans to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Customer Experience: Ensure a positive and engaging customer experience through effective communication, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, merchandise, and visual displays to meet sales targets and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Proven business acumen, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field an asset.
