Retail Store Manager

Scorteus Leather Store is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage store finances effectively.
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure seamless store operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- English language required.
