Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at J-KD Investments Ltd. O/A DBA Hodgson Hotel. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to meet customer needs.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate financial records are maintained.
- Order merchandise and ensure it is properly received and stored.
- Authorize return of merchandise and ensure it is processed in a timely manner.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform management decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. The work schedule will be 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
