HDR, a global engineering and architecture firm, has a strong presence in the Canadian water industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business growth strategies for Canada, collaborating with regional teams to drive revenue and market share.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a regional business group program, focusing on business development, technical services, and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with regional directors and managers to drive business initiatives and strategic growth, ensuring alignment with HDR's vision and values.
  • Participate in industry associations and organizations, fostering relationships with major water organizations in Canada and staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Develop strong business acumen, serving as the primary point of contact for operations and client development teams, and providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in water industry management and a proven track record of success in business growth, strategic initiatives, and relationship-building.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with regional teams, technical directors, and client development teams to drive business objectives and achieve results.
  • Commitment to quality improvement and HDR values, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and ensuring project success.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with alternative delivery contracting and risk management, as well as a strong network of relationships within major water organizations in Canada.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
