Job Overview

As a Sales Associate at Cartier, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales success in our boutique.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per yearKey Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Sales Achievement:
    • Consistently achieving and/or exceeding monthly sales targets, as directed by management.
    • Providing outstanding and exceptional customer service by creating a friendly environment that includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of Customer Service before, during, and after sales interactions.
    • Adapting your approach according to client needs and motivations.
    • Negotiating and handling objections with ease.
    • Assisting and supporting after-sales clients in accordance with Maison values, acting as a referent, and providing recommendations that will provide an exceptional client experience.
    • Remaining current on industry news and competitor trends.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivating new and existing client relationships through exceptional service and other Maison-specific CRM initiatives, partnering with management to develop a plan for their clients and prospects.
    • Consistently and accurately capturing client data for follow-up and relationship building, effectively utilizing available tools.
    • Appropriately resolving client issues/concerns and escalating as needed to management.
    • Partnering with management to develop a plan to support and participate in in-store and offsite events and networking activities.
  • Daily Boutique Operations:
    • Understanding and complying with all security and operational policies and procedures for the Group, Maison, and boutique.
    • Assisting with daily set-up and breakdown of the boutique and communicating any maintenance issues.
    • Assisting in merchandising and daily maintenance of displays and back-stock.
    • Actively participating in daily and annual inventories and cycle counts to prepare for and ensure successful audits.
    • Assisting with special projects as needed (price changes, supporting back-office responsibilities, etc.).
    Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A college degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of previous experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality environments.
  • General knowledge of timepiece movements.
Desirable Skills

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail store environment.
  • Computer and internet savvy.
  • MS Office experience required; SAP knowledge preferred.

  • A self-starter with a team-player approach.
  • Availability to work retail hours, including weekends, and travel for trainings, client events, and conferences.
