Our restaurant features an exclusive collection of high-quality, locally sourced Alberta beef served in a stylish ranch-inspired dining room with breathtaking mountain views.

A Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

  • $80,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience

About the Role

As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with our team to maintain kitchen organization, efficiency, and oversee all food preparation to ensure consistency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Liaise with suppliers to source the finest ingredients and manage inventory levels to minimize waste.
  2. Develop and implement menu concepts, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  3. Lead and motivate the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and recognizing opportunities for improvement.
  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  5. Contribute to the development of new recipes and menus, working closely with the culinary team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-end restaurant environment.
  • Prior experience in kitchen management and staff supervision is essential.
  • Degree or diploma in culinary arts or related field.
  • Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
