Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Anejo Restaurant.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain relationships with food suppliers.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations, meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional results.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
