Service Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Service Manager to join our team at IGA. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing and Inventory Management: Manage the purchasing and inventory of goods and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Point of Sale Management: Oversee the management of our point of sale systems, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
  • Accounting and Finance: Manage the accounting and financial aspects of the service department, including cash handling and deposits.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a retail or service department
  • High school diploma or college degree
  • Management experience and knowledge of point of sale computer systems
