About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager - Business Operations to join our team at Maglicious. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our restaurant, ensuring seamless execution of our business strategies, and driving growth through effective management of our resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Cost Control

Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, ensuring optimal profitability and efficiency.

Operational Excellence

Evaluate daily operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance customer satisfaction, staff productivity, and overall restaurant performance.

Menu Planning and Pricing

Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and customer preferences.

Staff Management

Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high standards of service and quality.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, minimizing waste, and optimizing supply chain efficiency.

Health and Safety

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, securing the best possible deals and ensuring timely delivery.

Marketing and Customer Service

Participate in marketing plans and implementation, addressing customer complaints or concerns, and providing exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and retention.

Requirements
  • Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and maintain a high level of organization.

Personal Qualities

Accurate, client-focused, organized, reliable, and a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations, management, and customer service principles.

Language

Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Schedule

37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
