We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Front Desk Attendant to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, and maintaining a positive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct telephone inquiries, greet and assist visitors
- Provide routine information and respond to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff
- Active screening of employees and visitors
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
- Prepare and distribute forms, reports, and other documents to appropriate personnel and departments
- Perform a wide variety of assignments, which may be confidential in nature
- Receive, process, and record client payments
- Ensure client safety by following and applying all standard operational procedures, safe work practices, and training provided
Requirements
- High School/GED completion
- Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous hospitality/customer service experience, especially with seniors
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Familiarity with the local area
- Experience with cash handling
- Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
- Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts
