Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Vancity Labour Supply Ltd is seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Organization: Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and organize activities to accomplish work efficiently.
  • Task Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights into productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff to enhance their skills.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week
  • English language required
