About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at AKHURST MACHINERY LIMITED. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Warehouse Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving and processing shipments, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to inventory management, warehouse operations, and team performance, providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, warehouse performance, and team metrics, using data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
