Job Summary

Destinationone Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join their corporate office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of HR activities, including payroll processing, employee support, recruitment, training, and HRIS management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for payroll processing, including verifying employee time cards and creating reports for biweekly payroll.
  • Offer frontline support to employees, addressing company policies, employee relations, and annual programs.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including posting job ads, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and reference checks.
  • Support training initiatives, scheduling, and managing training documentation, attendance tracking, and certification.
  • Maintain and update the HRIS system and physical files on a regular basis.
  • File and organize HR-related documentation.
  • Assist in administering and monitoring engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Manage employee uniforms, including ordering new uniforms and resolving shortage issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and provincial employment requirements.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a Human Resources function.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Patient and good listening skills.
  • Ability to solve problems individually.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Multilingual (English and Punjabi/Hindi) an asset.
