Job Summary:

We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide strategic support to our business leaders, focusing on talent management, labor relations, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business priorities.
  • Provide guidance on labor relations, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Design and implement succession plans for key talent and positions.
  • Identify training and development gaps and support the identification of high potential employees.
  • Develop and foster a positive organizational culture.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in human resources management, labour relations management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional-level human resource generalist experience, working and collaborating with business leaders in a consultative capacity.
  • Previous experience working with HRIS systems and Workday is an asset.
  • HR designation (CPHR) or significant progress towards completion is considered an asset.
