Job Summary

The Wellington Catholic District School Board is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Supply Secretary. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our schools, ensuring the smooth operation of our offices and providing excellent customer service to our students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general secretarial assistance to school offices, including reception and attendance duties
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and external contacts
  • Assist with bookkeeping, school banking, and budget control, including purchase orders and tender orders
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a two-year post-secondary program in secretarial studies, office administration, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Previous bookkeeping and budget experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to function effectively with staff, parents, outside agencies, members of the public, and others
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as part of a professional team
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of student information
  • Experience with PowerSchool and SDS would be an asset
