Job Summary

Claridge Homes Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Residential Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tenant Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, responding to their requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Generate work orders and follow up with tenants to ensure issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Property Inspections
    • Conduct regular inspections of properties and tenant spaces to ensure compliance with leases and maintain the upkeep of the property.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date property and lease files, records, and correspondence.
    • Prepare and coordinate production of signs, tenant identification, and other materials as needed.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly charges and transaction-related documents.
  • Market Analysis
    • Monitor and analyze market conditions for rentals to ensure optimal occupancy rates.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare yearly budgets for CAM recoveries and ensure accurate cost tracking in the general ledger.
    • Collect and post rents in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Completion of a post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Experience
    • A minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • In-depth knowledge of best practices related to leases and service contracts.
    • Knowledge of The Residential Tenancies Act and experience dealing with the Landlord and Tenant Board.
    • Strong property management knowledge, including building operations, customer service, occupational health and safety, and environmental compliance.
    • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
