Residential Property Manager

Claridge Homes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential properties, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and courteous service to tenants, responding to their requests and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with leases and maintain the property's condition.
  • Manage property files, records, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate the production and ordering of signs, tenant identification, and other materials.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly charges and transaction-related documents.
  • Obtain estimates and bids for general work at the property.
  • Monitor and analyze market conditions to ensure optimal rental income.
  • Deal with resident concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare yearly budgets for CAM recoveries and ensure accurate cost tracking.
  • Prepare revenue projections for commercial sites in preparation of budgets.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of best practices related to leases and service contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of The Residential Tenancies Act.
  • Experience dealing with the Landlord and Tenant Board.
  • In-depth property management knowledge, including building operations, customer service, occupational health and safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
