Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Program Director to lead our Community Ministries programs in Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, overseeing program implementation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve our ministry objectives, aligned with our vision and values.
  • Program Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of community ministries programs, ensuring they are effective, efficient, and aligned with our mission.
  • Team Supervision: Directly supervise 7-8 full-time employees, part-time employees, and/or volunteers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Fundraising and Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with funders, community stakeholders, and service clubs, identifying opportunities for partnership and collaboration to support our programs.
  • Operational Management: Ensure the effective management of budgets, resources, and operations, including finance, property, legal, government funding, information technology, and employee relations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Undergraduate University degree, preferably B.A., or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of prior related experience, including supervisory and budget management experience in a not-for-profit social services environment.
  • Skillset: Strong skills in MSOffice 365 (Excel, TEAMS, Word, PPT), proficiency in strategic planning, program development, and evaluation, operational and service management skills, sound management skills, creative mindset, and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Salary:

$85,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
