Landscaping Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Horizon Landscape Contractors Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscape construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscape professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects efficiently.
- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for our clients' properties, including regular inspections and reporting.
- Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct thorough site assessments to estimate labour and material requirements for projects, ensuring accurate budgets and timelines.
- Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction of complex landscape features, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality and safety.
- Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately document project progress, issues, and resolutions, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Tender and Administer Contracts: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring fair terms and conditions.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Source and procure high-quality materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and installation.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues, provide expert guidance, and implement process improvements to enhance team performance and client satisfaction.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient workflows, ensuring seamless project execution and minimizing downtime.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field.
- Workplace Information: On-the-road job, with regular travel to project sites.
