About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Excellent Country Landscapers Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of 5-10 staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to ensure our clients' properties are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Organize and Direct Construction Projects: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials used, labor hours, and any issues encountered.
  • Tender and Administer Contracts: Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring all parties are satisfied with the work.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate implementation of landscape designs.
  • Requisition Materials and Equipment: Order necessary materials and equipment to support landscaping operations.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to staff to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth operations.

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
