About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Canadian Spectroscopy team, driving successful sales outcomes and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, experience working in the life sciences industry, and a deep understanding of the Canadian market.

Responsibilities include managing customer relationships, designing programs to achieve business objectives, staffing and training the sales force, and establishing short- and long-term goals and quotas in alignment with company objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field; PhD or MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of first- and/or second-level manager experience with a strong sales background, focusing on delivering customer outcomes while growing market visibility and share
  • 5+ years of life science or applied market equipment sales experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead a sales team for growth
  • Excellent knowledge of the Canadian market, including academia, government, environmental testing, raw materials, mining, and chemical and energy

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $193,000 - $322,000 CAD per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Travel and Work Requirements

This role requires 50% travel time and a standard day shift schedule. The duration of this position is ongoing, with no end date specified.
