Role Overview

This permanent role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of Canadians. As Director, Major Accounts, you will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging your extensive experience in sales and leadership to drive revenue growth and retention for major group accounts;
  • Developing strategic and tactical plans to align with the company's goals and objectives;
  • Oversighting key performance indicators and ensuring the team meets departmental requirements;
  • Collaborating with leaders to prioritize projects, mitigate risks, and influence major decisions;
  • Providing guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the project management cycle.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in sales, particularly in the group insurance industry;
  • At least 7 years of progressively senior leadership experience;
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as business, economics, or marketing;
  • In-depth knowledge of Group Insurance products and underwriting methods;
  • Experience within the healthcare, benefits, or insurance landscape;
  • Existing marketplace relationships designed to drive new group business growth.
Compensation and Benefits

Pacific Blue Cross offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $140,000-$180,000 per year, depending on skills and experience. Additional benefits include extended health, dental, and life insurance; paid vacation and holidays; hybrid work environment; and opportunities for professional development.
