The Sales and Marketing Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving sales and marketing success at Garibaldi Glass. Reporting directly to the CEO, this dynamic leader will work closely with the executive suite to exceed all sales and marketing goals.

Job Overview

This is a senior leadership position that requires a strong strategic vision, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective sales and marketing tactics.

Sales Leadership (80% Focus)
  1. Develop and Execute a Comprehensive Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the CEO to create a sales strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives, identifies target markets, and crafts sales tactics to promote products and services while driving profitable revenue growth.
  2. Lead and Develop the Sales Team: Lead, develop, and inspire the Sales team (Outside, Inside Sales, and Estimating) to achieve profitable growth, focusing on expanding outside sales teams in Canada and the USA.
  3. Drive Sales Objectives and Growth: Play a crucial role in expanding outside sales teams, driving sales objectives, uncovering new opportunities, and creating new and cherishing existing strong client relationships.
  4. Metric Champion: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth, lead the sales team, and set sales targets, analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities and collaborating with the CFO to create accurate sales forecasts.
Marketing Leadership (20% Focus)
  1. Brand Ambassador: Lead the development of sales and marketing materials, providing direction and support for all brand marketing activities, including ownership of sales materials, company website, emails, social media, events, product portfolios, and promotional programs.
  2. Strategic Marketer: Leverage proven experience in strategic marketing to expand customer knowledge base, strengthen global partnerships, drive product innovation, and deepen market analysis and competitive intelligence.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Education**: A university or college degree with strong communication skills, ideally in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Industry Expertise**: Proven leadership experience in Technical Sales & Marketing, preferably within the Construction, General Contracting, Building Products, Trade Contractors, or Architecture industries.

Working Conditions

This position works primarily in an office environment with occasional time spent within a manufacturing environment, requiring regular local travel and occasional international travel.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
