Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker to join our team at NPN Construction. As a skilled craftsman, you will be responsible for designing and building custom cabinets that meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong foundation in woodworking, including knowledge of power tools and hand tools. You will work closely with our design team to bring customer visions to life, ensuring every cabinet meets the client's needs and expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of power tools, such as saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • Prepare detailed specifications for custom-made cabinets, maximizing storage space and aesthetics.
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools like planes, chisels, or wood files.
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, reinforcing joints for stability.
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, preparing them for installation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Benefits
