Senior Dam Safety Specialist Opportunity at Custom Home Audio Video Integration

Custom Home Audio Video Integration seeks a seasoned Senior Dam Safety Specialist to join our team, focusing on hydro and wind power infrastructure. This role requires expertise in dam safety management, long-range planning, and implementation of safety improvements.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive dam safety management systems to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan, develop, and maintain dam emergency plans, risk registries, and operation manuals.
  • Leverage technical knowledge to review and provide feedback on significant modifications to dam structures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders through effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Provide leadership support during emergency events and contribute to the development of industry standards and best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 5 years' experience or Master's degree in geotechnical, hydrotechnical, or structural engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge and design capabilities in dams and hydraulic structures.
  • Proven project management and communication skills.
  • Membership in professional organizations and a valid driver's license.
