Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Earl of Whitchurch. As a key member of our culinary operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring timely and cost-effective meal preparation.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for menu planning and inventory management.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage during peak periods.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or culinary operations role.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Own transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
