Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Ontario Inc is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service operations.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are trained in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we meet our quality control standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and submit reports on budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Work Hours: 40 hours per week
