Job Title: Food Service Management Lead

About the Role:
The Jay Hanuman Corporation is seeking a skilled Food Service Management Lead to oversee daily operations of our restaurant. This role will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of food preparation staff, providing guidance on sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Train new staff members in job duties and responsibilities.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire and manage food service staff.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure that food and service meet standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales and inventory levels.

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in food service management or supervisory roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically demanding role with standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Healthcare plan and other benefits package.
