Job Summary

AECOM ELECTRIC LTD. is seeking a skilled User Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support group, you will provide expert assistance to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring seamless access to computer networks and business systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to users, resolving issues related to computer networks, business systems, and Internet connectivity.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Offer advice and training to users, empowering them to effectively use our systems and tools.
  • Supervise and mentor other technical support workers, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical support services.
  • Perform equipment setup and installation, ensuring proper configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networks, business systems, and Internet protocols.
