SKYTRAC Systems Ltd. is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional technical support and assistance to clients using in-depth product knowledge and troubleshooting expertise;
  • Offer hardware and software advice to clients using Latitude/SKYTRAC products worldwide;
  • Utilize product knowledge to address a wide range of inquiries related to product functionality, usage, and troubleshooting;
  • Diagnose and analyze root cause of technical issues for Satcom products reported by clients. Offer effective solutions or workarounds to resolve problems;
  • Maintain and consult internal and external technical documentation including User Guides/Technical Manuals; and
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of knowledge base articles, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a college program in computer science, computer programming, network administration, or similar;
  • Several years' experience providing end-to-end technical client support with satcom products;
  • Experience working with SVN, Hubspot, Confluence/JIRA, Sharepoint, and MS Nav;
  • Familiarity with aircraft wiring diagrams and Iridium satellite technology;
  • Ability to communicate in English (oral and written); and
  • Experience working with aviation clients and AMEs.

Work Environment:

The position is based out of our office in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Compensation:

  • $65,000 per annum

Work Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, permanent
