Job Summary

We're seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join our team in Ottawa, working out of our Antares Branch. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch service to our clients, managing commercial insurance accounts, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial insurance accounts, including answering client calls, processing paperwork, and providing advice on insurance options.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Insurance Account Executive to provide exceptional service to our clients.
  • Source and obtain additional information requested by underwriters, complete applications, and issue insurance certificates.
  • Process endorsements, invoices, and follow up on payments.
  • Communicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters, and follow up on claims status.

Requirements

  • High school and/or post-secondary education.
  • 2-5 years' experience in an office environment.
  • Commercial insurance experience is an asset.
  • RIBO License is an asset.
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset.
  • Previous sales experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
