We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join our team at Navacord. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-quality construction insurance business.
Key Responsibilities- Client Service: Provide exceptional client service, including day-to-day client interactions, marketing, renewals, and project-specific coverages.
- Insurance Market Relations: Foster productive relationships with underwriters and maintain up-to-date knowledge of related insurance products and client needs.
- Account Management: Manage account documentation, review client coverage and exposures, and analyze risk to determine product/service requirements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Bond Department Client Managers as required and participate in client meetings as necessary.
- Professional Development: Participate in training and professional development courses to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
- Commercial Insurance Experience: Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience required in an Account Manager role.
- Construction Insurance Experience: Preference given to candidates with construction insurance experience.
- Licensing: R.I.B.O. license required.
- Skills: Solid understanding of policy wordings/coverages, proven negotiation skills, strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, and preference given to candidates with EPIC experience.
