Hotel Front Desk Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Ramada by Wyndham Quesnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process room reservations, cancellations, and changes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by offering information on hotel facilities and services, resolving guest complaints, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Manage guest departures, calculate charges, and process payments with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, to maintain a well-organized front desk area.
  • Answer phone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Assist guests with special needs and provide support to ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, Veterans, and Indigenous people.
Work Environment:
  • Permanent work term with 40 hours per week.
  • Work language: English.
