Job Title: Head of Regional Center of Excellence

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to head our Regional Center of Excellence for Low Carbon Fuels. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our hydrogen and low carbon fuel efforts, setting the strategy and vision, and growing a business that supports our customers through all their current and future needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical insights, strategies, and solidify relationships with key customers, creating new customer opportunities, and positioning DNV as the low carbon fuels choice consultant.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities based on a deep understanding of customer needs and value creation for our customers.
  • Work closely with regional segment lead and rest of North America experts for H2 and other low carbon fuels to share, learn, and implement best practices.
  • Build and lead a growth team, stimulate a high-performing culture, set direction, and act as a role model.
  • Optimize business performance through delivery management, cost-efficient business operations, and an aligned workforce plan.
  • Empower employees, foster professional growth and progression.
  • Build and strengthen a strong internal culture based on company values.
  • Actively incorporate diversity considerations into staff development, progression, and recruiting processes.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience is required.
  • At least 4 years of experience working within the market value chain for hydrogen and related low carbon products.
  • A solid technical understanding of the processes and technologies within the market value chain for hydrogen and related low carbon products.
  • Strong track record of designing and executing strategy and building businesses across multiple customer segments.
  • Track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams with different knowledge and skill sets.
  • Professionally handle difficult conversations with customers, for example on scope and budget issues or differences in technical opinions, while strengthening customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to drive thought leadership in the industry.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally to conferences, customer meetings, project sites, agencies, and internal meetings.
