About the Role

The Head of Teaching and Learning will be responsible for developing and implementing high standards of teaching and learning practices across Rosedale Global High School's community. This includes developing and maintaining oversight of academic excellence practices, monitoring student performance, and guiding partner schools on academic program reporting and self-assessment.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in IB education at the K-12 level, with a proven track record of success in developing methodologies and practices to improve teaching effectiveness and learning outcomes. They will also have extensive knowledge and experience in IB curriculum, teaching and learning, and be proficient in large-scale learning data analysis and reporting.

The Head of Teaching and Learning will be a key member of the Rosedale team, collaborating with Curriculum and Teacher Development departments to develop innovative practice and solutions to advance community-level teaching and learning effectiveness. They will also contribute to the development of curriculum content, teacher development programs, and central evaluation practices to enhance Rosedale's learning solutions and the quality of academic delivery.

The successful candidate will be a thought leader in education, advocating Rosedale's academic excellence to various stakeholders through presentations, meetings, conferences, and speeches. They will also collaborate with central marketing to promote Rosedale's academic excellence in teaching and learning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IB education at the K-12 level
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in IB curriculum, teaching and learning
  • Proven track record of success in developing methodologies and practices to improve teaching effectiveness and learning outcomes
  • Proficient in large-scale learning data analysis and reporting
  • Strong skills in cross-region and cross-team collaboration
  • Experience working with various stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in English
  • University degree
