Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Hometown Furniture & Appliances (Penticton) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our office team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling general inquiries.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Office Operations: Assist with office operations, including opening and distributing mail, planning and controlling budgets, and performing other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.
