We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Manager to join our team at Five Star Foods Inc. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, managing inventory, and leading a team of bakers to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and Production: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Team Leadership: Draw up production schedules, train staff, and lead by example to ensure a smooth and efficient bakery operation.

Requirements:

  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Work Environment: On-site work only, with no option for remote work.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and attention to detail required.
