Job Summary
The Manager, Forecasting and Demand Planning will deliver accurate forecasting of Apotex's marketed portfolio of products in Canada and its pipeline. This role expands beyond demand planning responsibilities to support the Senior Director, Forecasting and Demand Planning with all forecast-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain product forecasts and assumptions.
- Review and analyze market data to identify key industry trends and findings.
- Forecast volume and financials for Business Development opportunities.
- Monitor monthly sales trends and future forecasts of all marketed and pipeline products.
- Work closely with Sales Management to maintain up-to-date knowledge of product listings and build consensus market share assumptions.
- Provide analytical support to Revenue Management and Marketing teams.
- Lead cross-functional groups meetings to maintain market assumptions and provide feedback on commercial requirements.
- Develop and maintain departmental forecast management tools and forecast methodology.
- Perform analyses to formulate recommendations on product viability, SKU rationalization, and profitability.
- Guide Junior Analysts on current methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
- University Degree in Business (Preferred)
- Advanced analytical and technical abilities with a sound knowledge of quantitative decision models.
- Strong track record of process design and process improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, diplomatic team player with a proactive results orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and enterprise software systems.
- 5+ years of experience in a forecast analyst or demand planning role.
