Job Title: Senior Demand Planning Analyst - Cannabis Industry

About the Role:
The Commercial Demand Manager at Organigram Inc is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and sales input. This role works closely with the sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to understand building blocks and resulting changes to overall demand.

Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize historical sales data, market trends, and sales inputs to forecast customer demand.
    Predict future product demand using statistical models and market insights, adjusting forecasts based on real-time data and market signals.
    Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to ensure demand forecasts are in line with Supply Chain capabilities.
    Review Cultivar performance to support accurate forecast development.
    Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust predictions based on real-time data and feedback.

Requirements:
  Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  Experience: 5 years experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related function within supply chain management.
  Skills: Proficiency with forecasting tools and demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA). Experience with various reporting tools (eg BI, Tableau, Acterys). Expertise in coding or script writing is a plus (ie Python).
  Cannabis Industry Knowledge: Experience in cannabis is an asset.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
