About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Forvis Mazars, Canada. As a Payroll Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our payroll specialists and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to client inquiries and payroll requests with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring timely resolution and managing the Payroll Support email inbox.
  • Follow up on the status of requests to ensure quick resolution.
  • Assist in processing payroll transactions as needed by the payroll specialist.
  • Support clients with various registration requests related to their province of employment.
  • Produce and distribute payroll reports and other related documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve payroll issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Develop the role within the department by establishing workflows and collaboration methods among the various payroll stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and current legislation.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within payroll outsourcing services, preferably.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Practical knowledge of payroll systems, with experience in Desjardins and Nethris being an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Initiative and excellent organizational skills, with quick execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English to interact effectively with all our clients in and outside Quebec.
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to build strong professional relationships with clients.
  • Keen sense of confidentiality and ethics in handling sensitive information.
