We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food service department.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, with a strong background in food preparation and service. You will be responsible for establishing work schedules, supervising staff, and ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership skills, ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills
