Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Eagle Ridge Eatery & Cafe. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Work Setting: Food service establishment, restaurant.

Supervision: 3-4 people, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen and food service helpers.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.

Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
