Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at AB Ltd. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules

Work Environment: Our cafeteria is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. This is a physically demanding role.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in food service
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work as a team player
