About the Role

As a Total Rewards Strategist at Holt Renfrew & Co., you will be responsible for overseeing the alignment of Compensation, Benefit, and Pension plans with the company's Employee Value Proposition.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and executive presence in developing and implementing total rewards programs
  • Ensure solutions consider the impact on longer-term business strategy and market developments
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a compelling manner

You will work closely with the HR Executive team and cross-functional leadership to respond to internal and external pressures with solutions and ideas that align with the company's strategic goals and cultural mandate.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor total rewards programs to ensure alignment with business objectives and performance pay relative to target pay
  2. Manage the implementation of best practices and partner on technology solutions to deliver programs
  3. Manage all compensation programs revision and rollout, ensuring that Total Rewards programs are competitive and support organizational strategy
  4. Oversee the delivery and ongoing improvement of the Annual Compensation Cycle
  5. Work with Human Resources partners to ensure communications and learning lead to employees' understanding of their total rewards plans and the value they offer
  6. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of Total Rewards professionals
  7. Provide direction and act as second-level support to the HR partners
  8. Ensure that Group Health and Benefits programs are competitive, cost-effective, well administered, and well communicated
  9. Coordinate with outsourced providers to ensure exceptional delivery of customer service and continuous improvement of services
  10. Manage conflicting priorities to deliver highest-value initiatives that support key business objectives while respecting organizational and team capacity
The Ideal Candidate
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of post-university work experience, including a minimum of 3+ years leading a business unit or enterprise-wide strategy
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player who is able to act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required
  • Confident and effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum
