Regional Community Oral Health Coordinator North Team Lead

At the Government of Nunavut, we are committed to improving the oral health of children in our communities. As a Regional Community Oral Health Coordinator, you will play a key role in this effort.
About the RoleThis is a highly sensitive position that requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality. You will be working with Dental Therapists, Dental Hygienists, and other health care professionals to provide community-wide oral health promotion, education, and preventive oral health care services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and provide leadership to Community Oral Health Coordinators (COHCs)
- Work with COHCs to promote oral health and provide preventive oral health care services
- Travel to communities to conduct screenings and provide training to COHCs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognized Diploma in office administration, dental services, or a related field
- Two years of experience in office administration, dental services, or a related field
- One year of supervisory experience
- Registration as a Dental Therapist or Dental Hygienist would be considered an asset
We offer a competitive salary of $86,457 to $98,134 per year, plus a Northern Allowance of $16,008 per year. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan.
