About This Role

This is an opportunity to join our team as a Governance Project Coordinator in Yellowknife, Canada. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the project management team by coordinating project deliverables, schedules, and subconsultant contract management.
  • Collaborate with business center leadership, finance, project managers, and other project controllers to ensure overall financial health and process optimization.
  • Monitor project financial progress, recommend areas of improvement, and help identify areas of risk.
  • Assist with internal processes, including project setups, forecasting, monitoring gross margins, invoicing/accounts receivable, and contract reviews.
  • Analyze data to understand trends and assist leadership with business decisions.

Requirements

  • Prior work experience in a financial role/project controller/project manager/project assistant is preferred.
  • Financial acumen, including understanding of general finance and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical skills to review project controls information and ensure accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments efficiently.

What We Offer
